Over the years, Fevicol has charmed the country through its iconic TVCs and print ads. The brand has owned everyday Indian insights through all their stories, be it the Fevicol bus ad, or Pakde Rehna Chhodna Nahi. Today’s millennials have grown up watching Fevicol ads and undoubtedly at some point of time had their own idea for a Fevicol Ad. To celebrate 60 years of a #MazbootJod, we decided to use this insight that we came across time and again through social listening. This gave birth to a User Generated Content Campaign - #MyFevicolAd. A contest campaign where anyone in the country could think of their own Fevicol Ad Idea and share it with us and stand a chance to win big! What was the result? Well, we managed to reach 55 million+ people and garner a total engagement of 17.5 million+. All this resulted in 6,000+ unique contest entries across platforms, 18,000+ campaign hashtag mentions and 25,000+ brand conversations. We also witnessed a 300% increase in search volume, a 4X increase in organic YouTube viewership and our campaign hashtag - #MyFevicolAd was the 7th trending # on Twitter on a day during our campaign. We achieved what we set out to accomplish – a #MazbootJod with India as we were voted amongst the Top 10 Most Trusted Brands In India and the Number 1 Household Brand by Brand Equity. All this within a span of just 30 days! Now that is a jod, oops, job well done.
